So… I let the girls text my husband while I was talking to a salesperson at the mall…it was the first time they ever used my phone to text. He was away at a conference and they missed him. Here is what I saw on my phone…

Who Needs Costumes?!

Who needs a costume…when you have a couple pillow cases!? I turned around to find two “little ghosts” following me quietly! Maybe we could add some “ghostly shoes”.

Let It Snow…

making a snowman

Let It Snow! It’s still quite a novelty for the girls and myself. Having grown up in Hawaii, building a snowman was a must…

I knew those Halloween lollipops would come in handy!

The Croquet Course

“See the flag…that’s where we have to hit our ball to…”

This is the Croquet Course for Junior Golfers…someone definitely had fun designing this mini course. Each hole is less than 50 yards but a couple were quite challenging…although very pretty. This is the first time the girls were on a course so we simply adjusted the location of our tee box!

The Mountain House

family gathering place

This is our family gathering place. It marks new milestones each time we go.

First, the girls were in carriers and and the mini van was completely loaded for a two day stay. The double stroller, the co-sleeper, the booster seats…

Next came the crawling stage where we had every contraption and safety item from the Super Yard to cabinet locks and electric plug covers, and thick mats to sleep on.

Then came the entertainment stage where we brought the endless bag of snacks for the ride, new books and toys to keep them busy.

Now, they pack their own little backpack and fill it with books, stuffed animals and small toys and we are bringing their first set of clubs!

When Does It Become Real???

nissan2

We found out early on that we were having twins. We saw the twins on the sonogram…

We bought the changing table, the rocker chair, the co-sleeper, the Diaper Genie, filled the baby box with all the essentials. I looked like I was having twins! Then the double stroller came and put the carriers into the SUV.

This was the moment it all became very real to us.
